RESEARCH INTERESTS: My dissertation work is focused on knowledge discovery and decision support. In large general terms it is: Databases, Decision Support Systems, Data Mining, Knowledge Discovery and Data Warehouse Architecture.

My specific research interests are in the areas of wavelet-based knowledge discovery and decision support, tools for meta-data management, algorithms for data reduction, applications of data mining to network management applications, semi-structured data, and data integration using XML. I am also interested in software agents, and information retrieval. In both of these areas my emphasis is in the data management aspects.
